It's been a while since we've seen the angry athletes, the menacing teammates. When one does come through a league, they quickly make a name for themselves. One player that has never really been talked about as such, Percy Harvin, has now been traded to the New York Jets for a conditional draft pick.

The move on the surface seems baffling, but if the reports regarding fights with teammates (ex: giving Golden Tate a black eye the week of the Super Bowl) are truly describing a locker-room distraction, then this could be a really interesting twist to an odd trade.
However, in terms of a franchise, it may not be a terrible trade for the Seahawks, as this trade gives chances for Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, Ricardo Lockette, and recent draft pick Paul Richardson a chance to prove themselves. All four have significant talent that could be better utilized with Harvin out of the picture.
The jets get another undersized wide receiver (a la Eric Decker) that can make an impact in the offensive side of things. Harvin also gives the Jets a return threat not seen since Leon Washington.
